During this session we will:

• Learn about the inspiration behind the nationally touring Inspired Generosity (IG) showcase, highlighting stories of generosity within Muslim American communities

• Tour the Minnesota IG showcase

• Hear from representatives of the Interfaith Institute at Augsburg University about their work in Minneapolis’ Cedar-Riverside neighborhood—the epicenter of the Somali diaspora in the United States

• Engage with a panel of Augsburg staff, students, and community members discussing community experiences during Operation Metro Surge

Participants will also take part in small-group discussions exploring how organizations and neighborhoods can prioritize community needs and inspire generosity and solidarity during challenging times.
